NO BAILOUT…………..
The bailout is ok, BUT, if it does not include a minimum of a $2500 tax credit to consumers for the purchase of a US built and 80% US content vehicle it still will not do anything to move the glut of cars building up and or the same ol’ products that will still come pouring out of the same ol’ factories. Invation is great but if there is no one left who can buy the cars, it won’t matter if they have the money to keep the coming out the doors. Help the consumer and you will indirectly help the automakers.
There is only one way to make money. Make and sell a product or service that people want and are willing to pay for. If you make a load of products that people don’t want to buy, then you won’t survive and don’t deserve to be bailed out using someone else’s taxes.
Its called free enterprise.
A person would have to be crazy to buy a GM vehicle after their execs flew to Washington in a corporate jet. How arrogant are these people? At least Ford has made amends by selling their jet. You just know GM won’t. After the IMG (intake manifold gasket) debacle, it is clear that GM does not have competent leadership and should not receive taxpayers money. I feel sorry for all the innocent people who will be severely hurt by the parasites that run GM.
