Follow me on:

Classic Car Christmas Card We received the best Christmas card in the mail today, it had picture of Santa Claus riding down a snowy lane in a 1953 XK 120. Inside the card it read, Best Wishes For A Classic Holiday Season! How cool is that!

Immediately we called the sender to find out where they found such a great card and found out that Automania Specialties has over 90 different illustrated classic car Christmas card designs available at $19.95 plus shipping for 20 cards with envelopes. If you buy two or more sets, the price drops to $18.00 per set.

These are the first classic card Christmas that we’ve found that are sold in boxed sets and are a really fun way for automotive enthusiasts to share a Christmas greetings. Choices of design include Ford, Mopar, GM, VW, classic auto, and British cards.

You can browse their website to view all the classic auto Christmas cards, and vintage auto posters at Automania Specialties. Photo © Automania Specialties

I have come across these cards before as they also sold by British Marque Magazine for whom I write a monthly column about the classic car scene in the UK.

I have one problem with these cards, which will sound really picky. The quality is excellent, the pictures are good, the greeting as you rightly out is a great one.

But most of the cards show left hand drive cars.

In the UK we drive on the correct side of the road and our cars are right hand drive, so our Christmas cards need to be RHD as well.

I have in the past sent out cards from the same set showing a glorious vintage Bentley, which was of course RHD.

I had a go on a Harley Davidson once but didn’t like it as that was left hand drive.

Happy Christmas to all.

Thanks Tony,

You’re right, most of the cars are LHD. Maybe we should send Automania Specialties a request for another line with RHD models. Tell you what, I’ll send them this article with your comment.

Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day to you and yours.

Hi Tony

How comes you write: “In the UK we drive on the correct side of the road….?
We here in Switzerland, like in most other countries, drive on the left side and this, i think is also correct:-))

By the Way i like English cars, i drive some of them, eg this one, one the right side of the road with rhd, no problem:
