George Barris had nothing to with the design or buildimg of the Monkee Mobile. He bought the original car and has apparently seen fit to tell everyone he built it.
It was built by Dean Jefferies.
Please give the proper credit where it is deserved.

Thank you for your comment and kind words. Yes, there is some controversy over who “built” the Monkeemobile. A he said/he said situation. According to Barris, he built the Monkeemobile from a design by Dean Jeffries.
But your point is well taken, and if we don’t have complete confidence in the accuracy, we should remove the content…which we have done.
