This Type 84 Lozier was reportedly acquired as a bare chassis, from which the body had been removed. Stuart Laidlaw built the Meadowbook runabout body, working from Lozier factory photographs and plans, as part of a complete restoration completed some ten years ago for the Don Boulton Collection. Fitted with Houk wire wheels, optional for this model, it is painted in stunning white with blue fenders. Seats are upholstered in black leather and there is a black top, but, fittingly, no windshield. It has left-hand steering, adopted by Lozier in 1914, and gas lighting, still being offered by the factory.
It sold for $154,000.
