The facelift Packard gave their Twenty-Third Series models, which debuted on May 2, 1949, was in celebration of their Golden Anniversary. Changes were minor but included solid chrome front bumpers, oval taillights in large chrome pods, an enlarged rear window on sedans, and five more horsepower for Eights and Super Eights.
This 1950 Packard Series 23 Super Eight Sedan owned by Langdon and Jo-Ann Towne is a fine example of this model. What a great car!
