Start the Minute You own the Car

Always take pictures of how and where you found the car before you drive or trailer it home. A car with a "story" will appeal to buyers and increase its market value. But it will also help validate the history and condition you found it in.

The pictures below are of an early 1951 MGTD we found in Cave Creek, Arizona. The owner purchased it in 1984 as a retirement present for her husband. He used the car for short trips to the golf course and around town until health problems became too severe to service it properly. Subsequently the MG was stored in the family’s garage for the next 15 years.
