1927 Fiat 509A Torpedo

We couldn't help fall in love with this little Fiat – it's an excellent example of its type. A complete up and running car, it was restored in 1956 in Rome and has four gears instead of the usual three. It also benefits from electric start, clock, oil warning light and an alternator. The model was famous for offering real luxury for its time. It has been described as a visceral experience to drive, engaging to steer and extremely sympathetically restored. Unfortunately the bidders didn't share our appreciation for the car and it went unsold.
