When Polish Just Doesn't Work Anymore

If any part of your chrome work is in bad shape, you have two choices, to replace it with a good reproduction or to re-chrome. Either way, finding a reputable company to deal with is essential. It’s much easier to send back a part that your unhappy with than a bad chrome job, but trim pieces can be the most difficult part of the vehicle to locate in the old cars parts market.

If you decide to have your original chrome pieces replated, it’s one job that needs a professional hand. The home restorer, like us, has no alternative but to trust their classic's chrome to a commercial plating shop.
